1990s Vintage Tin Litho SCHYLLING Popeye WInd-Up Speedboat #1. "Well Blow Me Down!" ./TM Hearst.
This Limited Edition Tin Wind-Up Speedboat is one of a series of antique reproductions from Schylling. It is inspired by the classic tin toys from the 1920's  and 30's-before injection molded plastic took over the toy industry. The nostalgic look of the tin toys comes from their decoration and classic shape. They start as a flat sheet of tin plated steel. Just like paper they can be printed with colorful designs reminiscent of a bygone era.
