In most cases this will be old stock as we have been rebuilding brake shoes since the 1950's
In 1955 to 58 a few Pontiacs came with an extra wide 2 1/2 inch shoe in the front, we will ship the standard 2 1/4 inch
The shoes we ship from 1939 to 58 are an improved and stronger design, in some extreme cases, the wheel cylinder pin may have to be made  slightly wider to fit in the shoe.
