CHINESE ASIAN HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN GINGER JAR TEA CADDY BLUE WHITE 7" TALL VTG
Up for your consideration is this lovely vintage Chinese Porcelain Ginger Jar - which could also be a tea caddy.
Originally, ginger jars were used for storing and transporting spices in Ancient China. They were used as containers for salt, oil but also rarer spices such as ginger, hence the name they got when they began entering the Western world.
This hand painted jar features a cool hexagonal shape with a mountain scene and floral design in a cobalt blue color. The lid is also a hexagon shape with knob on top to easily hold and lift off. This jar stands 7" tall and would make a great addition to your Asian tea collection or decor. Please be sure to see all the other items we have listed.

You really like the thing, but not so much the price...
I find cool stuff, do some research and list it for what I think it's worth. Sounds pretty simple but sometimes not. So if this is something you really like but its a bit more than you had hoped to pay, then be sure to watch this because I can't send it to the bank, and if it ends without a buyer chances are good that I will drop the price and re-list it until it does sell! Two things for sure - it will get sold sooner rather than later, and that's better for both of us.
