Marklin #1980 JU52 Junkers TriMotor Airplane, New in Box, Made & Sold 1999 only

This listing is for a Märklin  #1980 Junkers JU52 TriMotor Airplane.  Produced and sold only in 1999 this tinplate model is a reproduction of the original made by Märklin in 1936.  It
is made of metal and has a  built-in wind-up motor that powers the three propellers.  It has movable elevator, vertical rudder and aileron. The Pilot's cockpit can be opened. The Wing Span is approximately 56 cm (22-3/64 inches). Delivery to Märklin dealers was completed during the 4th quarter 1999.  It is in Brand New, unused condition.  The first and only time it has been out of the box since leaving the factory in 1999 was for the pictures.  Condition of the box is excellent.  It is clean and shows no age wear, no stickers or labels have ever been attached.
