For sale, the legendary Mistral Competition windsurfer, the board that superseded the famous Mistral Superlight. Improvements over the Superlight include an adjustable mast track, adjustable mast base, and clamp style boom. This is a complete windsurfing package ready to sail including board, sail with sail bag, clamp type boom, mast, fully retractable daggerboard, and adjustable mast base. This is a high quality board that was manufactured in West Germany and very expensive when new. The colorful sail is in very nice condition and the sail window is not discolored as shown in the pictures. Due to the condition of the board it appears to have been stored indoors since new. Unlike older boards, the mast track allows the fitting of a modern Chinook mast base, mast extension, and mast if desired. The board is a very stable platform for teaching beginners and can be used as a paddle board. All components are matching Mistral quality pieces.
