NEW San Francisco CABLE CAR Trolley Tin Litho Wind Up Clockwork Mechanism (BOX)

Description

This item came from a very eclectic collector who was a smoker. Condition is new, but these things aren’t perfect in assemble… in fact a bit crude but cute! Has a few minor scratches but has not been played-with. Box is marked as item #TTA738 from TinToyArcade.com where the toy is sold-out and no longer available. One tab/flap on kraft box is missing.

It's the famous San Francisco Powell & Market cable car. This tan, red, and black wind-up trolley is a reproduction of a 1920's tin toy original. Cable cars began running up and down the hills of San Francisco in 1873 and they continue to run today.
