This is the Vintage 1950s Oahu Tonemaster Sunburst Lap Steel Electric Guitar.
25.5" scale. 1.97" nut width. 5 lbs. 4 oz.
10" bottom bout. 1.75" deep.
1.05"-1.45" 1st to 9th fret neck depth.
This Oahu is is a beauty- maple body/neck, rope binding, and sunburst finish.
The maple combined with the light weight offers a good balance between resonance and midrange push.
The 'P90' style single coil provides a full tone with good note articulation.
Using the volume and tones there are a lot of good sounds in here.
This lap steel has the marks you expect on a 60+ year old example as well as repaired hairlines in the fretboard (pics) that don't go beyond the fret they are on but are on virtually every fret.
Nothing that affects the performance whatsoever.
This auction includes the original hardshell case- fair overall condition.
